NORTH ELEMENTS - LOVER (FEATURING LOOSE BRICKS)

The inception of this single took place when the musician decided to uproot his life and move from Melbourne to Hobart in search of change and disruption back in 2018. The artist recalls making the journey to Hobart, driving through dense greenery and rolling hills to find himself feeling at home in Tasmania's natural landscape and aura.

"I've had a really difficult journey creating music these last few years. I was struggling with my mental health and haven't been able to write music as easily as I once did. Coming to Tasmania helped that change almost instantaneously. I remember driving down the east coast searching through my playlists and feeling as though I couldn't quite find the right song to capture the moment I was in. I wanted to listen to something free-spirited, optimistic, and energetic and from that, I decided I'd write something for myself... It took some time and didn't come easy, but I decided to take the time to perfect it while the world stopped spinning through COVID."

Ravi Vithal a.k.a. North Elements reached out to a number of friends to create this single. His vision for an indie-rock inspired single brought him to Levi Smith of Loose Bricks, a Dream-Rock band based in Melbourne, for vocals. The band's creative spirit and energy resonated strongly and felt like the perfect fit for this single.

Additional production from the talented Hayden Jeffrey, Jackson McRae and Jack Arentz brought together a larger-than-life, feel-good single in tribute to good times, and great company. The single was mixed by Jack Arentz and mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer, Andrei Eremin. With a catalogue of new music ready for release, North Elements returns to the Australian music scene with big plans for 2022.
